The Beauty of Things

BY ROBINSON JEFFERS

To feel and speak the astonishing beauty of things—earth, stone and water,
beast, man and woman, sun, moon and stars—
The blood-shot beauty of human nature, its thoughts, frenzies and passions,
and unhuman nature its towering reality—
For man’s half dream; man, you might say, is nature dreaming, but rock
and water and sky are constant—to feel
greatly, and understand greatly, and express greatly, the natural
beauty, is the sole business of poetry.
The rest’s diversion: those holy or noble sentiments, the intricate ideas,
the love, lust, longing: reasons, but not the reason.

Life is full of traps, treasons and bad tendencies. For example, tendencies to go to the darker side, tendency to sit and rest in a comfort zone. Tendency to explain each of your actions to anyone who is willing to question them (that is everybody).

I don't feel like explaining each of my life steps to the first who asks. It is not my case. And to help with it, few people come and ask directly, the very same cowards. No, that is not the point... My point is that I feel like explaining my sudden moves and making it clear to my loved ones. I know, they don't ask often, but still...

It's like I still am waiting for some kind of recognition or acceptance. I would hate to know that my friends or family are talking behind my back questioning with rolling eyes why I do this, or why I did that. That is not good. I mean, it is not good that I care about them talking... because, let's face it: they DO talk in such ways.

The important thing here is... not anymore. It is not important.

I don't care. I really don't.

What the *bleep* do we know?

What a show did i see today!
"What the *bleep* do we know?"
I had seen it previously, but only the first part. It's a well researched documentary on the advances of 2 sciences: Neurochemistry and Quantum Mechanics. It is just... Oh, and it features Marlee Maitlin (the impossible love of my cousin Max).
And it was brought to my attention today by one of the most sweet angels, and she didn't even do it on purpose. She doesn't have to.
In the end we are what we believe, but then we are not even that, and yes.. we are so much more. So yes, the divinity is within us, and we are within the divinity.

Great.
